Bley, Carla

Pianist, composer

Carla Bley, née Borg, born 11th of May 1938 is a jazz musician.
She was a part of the 1960s free jazz movement and the author of the famous jazz opera Escalator Over The Hill.
She is a friend of Nick Mason. She took part in the recording of his album named Fictitious Sports, although she is not credited.
