Did you know that Pink Floyd needed 49 trucks to move all the things necessary for the Division Bell tour? Did you know that the skinheads from The Wall movie were actual skinheads, not actors? When shooting certain scenes, the makers had difficulty coping with their unfeigned aggressivity. Cirrus Minor is the latin name (literally cirrus means hair strand) used for a cloud type. In everyday meteorology the name is abbreviated to just cirrus (minor meaning smaller).
The subtle cirrus clouds exist in the high layers of atmosphere. They consist of small crystals of ice and form thin layers.
The kind of cirrus we could describe as “badly swept sky” can also become the cirrostratus or cirrocumulus cloud, which are puffy small clouds. The cirrus clouds look especially impressive during dawn.
