Did you know that the song Mihalis on one of David Gilmour’s solo albums is named after a boat bought by David in Greece? Mihalis is Greek for Michael. Did you know that the Pink Floyd Live 8 show footage contains a short glimpse of the Battersea power station known from the Animals album artwork? It can be seen when the band is playing the song Money. Did you know that there are just two songs with Nick Mason credited as the only author? They are The Grand Vizier’s Garden Party and Speak To Me, which was only credited to him because of the royalties.
