Did you know that Nick Mason is the only person to be a member of Pink Floyd all the time the band existed? Did you know that there have been numerous references to Pink Floyd in The Simpsons? For example, in one of the episodes, Bart can be seen trying to play Echoes on guitar, but is interrupted by Nelson. Did you know that Stanley Kubrick wanted to use Pink Floyd music in the Clockwork Orange? The band did not agree, however, the Atom Heart Mother vinyl record is shown in the record shop scene of the movie.

Snowy White - guitar solo on the US 8 track version.

note:

Unjustly somewhat forgotten and unrecognized Pink Floyd album, which reflects Waters' growing feelings of alienation and pressure.
The album was the first and very important step to his most celebrated album – The Wall.
The 8T released in America featured the songs Pigs on the Wing part 1 and 2, linked together by a guitar solo recorded by Snowy White, who would later be part of the “ surrogate band" at the 1980 The Wall concerts.  Back
