note:

The album successfully followed The Dark Side Of The Moon.
The LP was originally sold wrapped in a black plastic sleeve with a sticker showing two shaking robotic hands on a background of the four elements. The main concept of the album was absence and so Pink Floyd wanted the album to “lack a cover.”
