Did you know that Nick Mason was paid just the same amount of money for driving Auto Union Type D, that the original test driver earned in the 1930s? Nick was even paid in the old Nazi German currency, the Reichsmarks. Did you know that Empty Spaces contain a secret message audible only when played backwards? Did you know that The Flaming Lips recorded a cover version of Dark Side Of The Moon in 2009?

note:

The last Rick Wright solo album, according to many the best by all measures. (In various polls it has placed on the top as the best solo album by a Pink Floyd member). It sounds like a typical Pink Floyd album, from the opening instrumental song, that smoothly changes into another track, an element typical of albums such as A Momentary Lapse Of Reason or The Division Bell , to the optimistic conclusion. The overall atmosphere reflects loneliness, much like Dark Side Of The Moon or Wish You Were Here . The lyrics were inspired by Rick's girfriend's depression.  Back
